Important: AquaShelter is an aquarium decision-support tool. It is not a veterinarian, laboratory, emergency service, or guarantee that fish or livestock will survive.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using AquaShelter, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
AquaShelter is operated by Abload Ltd. Some legacy app identifiers or technical services may still use AquaKeeper naming during the product transition.
2. Service Description
AquaShelter provides tools for aquarium shops and fish keepers, including public fish diagnosis, AI-assisted symptom intake, rule-based disease matching, treatment safety checks, shop dashboards, customer case history, app-based aquarium records, notifications, and related support features.
We may add, remove, suspend, or change features, pricing, providers, integrations, limits, and availability at any time.
3. No Veterinary or Emergency Advice
AquaShelter content and diagnosis output are for informational and decision-support purposes only. The service does not provide veterinary, medical, laboratory, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
You are responsible for verifying water readings, species compatibility, medication safety, dosage instructions, local law, and urgent livestock decisions with qualified professionals or reliable specialist sources. Never rely on AquaShelter as the only basis for emergency treatment, medication, quarantine, or life-support decisions.
4. AI and Diagnosis Limitations
AquaShelter may use AI to parse or normalize symptom descriptions and may use database and rule logic to produce a likely diagnosis and safety result. AI and rule-based systems can be incomplete, delayed, wrong, or unsuitable for a specific tank.
Any confidence, probability, or match-strength label is a product signal, not a medical certainty. You accept responsibility for decisions made after using the service.
5. Accounts and Shop Responsibilities
Shop owners are responsible for account security, staff access, customer communication, lawful use of customer information, and ensuring they have permission to enter or view customer case data.
Shops must not represent AquaShelter output as guaranteed medical advice, a cure, or a promise of livestock survival. Shops remain responsible for their own sales, treatment recommendations, customer service, returns, and local compliance.
6. iOS Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
AquaShelter offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans through Apple's App Store:
- AquaShelter Pro — Monthly: 1-month subscription. Price displayed at time of purchase in the app (e.g., $1.99 / month). Renews monthly.
- AquaShelter Pro — Yearly: 12-month subscription. Price displayed at time of purchase in the app (e.g., $9.99 / year). Renews annually.
Both plans remove all in-app advertisements for the duration of the active subscription. All core features remain free regardless of subscription status.
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of renewal is the same as the original subscription price unless otherwise stated.
Managing or Cancelling: You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings in the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period. AquaShelter cannot process refunds for Apple-billed purchases — refund requests must be submitted to Apple.

7. Plans, Trials, Billing, and Taxes (SaaS)
Current public SaaS shop plans may include a 14-day Stripe trial with a payment card required, Standard at $9.99/month, and White Label at $19.99/month. The pricing page controls the current public offer, and custom or enterprise terms may differ.
Paid plans renew monthly unless cancelled. You are responsible for applicable taxes, payment method validity, and charges approved by you or your organization. If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access.
Trial length, features, customer limits, and plan availability may change before you subscribe. If you cancel during a no-charge trial before the trial ends, no subscription charge is collected for that trial.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a SaaS subscription at any time. Cancellation usually prevents future renewal and does not automatically refund past charges unless our Refund Policy or applicable law requires it.
Apple App Store purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refund requests are handled through Apple. AquaShelter cannot directly issue refunds for Apple-billed purchases.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use AquaShelter for illegal, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
- Submit malware, spam, fraudulent requests, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass limits, attack, or interfere with the service.
- Use diagnosis output to make false claims, guarantee cures, or mislead customers.
- Upload customer photos, case notes, or personal data without appropriate permission.
10. Customer Data and Privacy
Use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. If you are a shop owner, you are responsible for telling your customers how their diagnosis data may be used by your shop and AquaShelter.
11. Intellectual Property
AquaShelter, the website, product design, software, branding, diagnosis logic, databases, and service content are owned by AquaShelter, Abload Ltd, or their licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service according to these terms.
You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant us the rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, support, secure, and improve the service.
12. Third-Party Services
AquaShelter relies on third-party services for AI, hosting, analytics, diagnostics, ads, notifications, app distribution, payments, email, and infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party outages, terms, policies, or decisions.
13. Availability and Support
We aim to keep AquaShelter reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, provider outages, traffic, abuse controls, billing issues, and technical failures may interrupt access.
14. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and suitability for any species, aquarium, shop, or customer case.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AquaShelter and Abload Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for livestock loss, tank failure, treatment error, business interruption, lost data, lost customers, or lost revenue arising from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to AquaShelter for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires a different limit.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service, fail to pay, misuse customer data, or use AquaShelter in a way that could harm users, customers, providers, or AquaShelter.
17. Governing Law
Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts or authorities may apply mandatory consumer, platform, or local laws where required.
18. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
